Did you review your pay rate? Is it up to 2 decimal or 4 decimal?
For example, you were hired for a company with a salary of $45,000. You have to work 40 hours per week and 2080 hours (40hrs x 52 weeks) per year. Therefore, the rate was calculated as $21.63 (2 decimal points) per hour (45,000/2080). Now, here is the magic! If you make a back calculation, $21.63*2080 hours, it will give you $44,990. Where is your rest $10! Five cups of Coffee?
You better bring this issue to your HR. Pay rate should set up to 4 decimal points prior to round it. In the above case, it should be $21.6346. If you make a back calculation, $21.6346*2080hrs, you will see your full salary of $44,999.97.
